NFT Collection
It all started with a joke at our kitchen table, during the 2016 U.S. presidential elections.
One night we were talking about the candidates while making dinner. The field was wide and not exciting. Someone said “one of these potatoes would be a better candidate”….and Richard Spudz was born. We even designed a campaign banner, which we’ll update and post soon.
We thought it might be a comic strip one day, or a fast food joint or a fun meme…then NFTs became a thing. So here we are.
The images here were created using real potatoes as the base character, then we added hand drawn artistic overlays and accessories. The collection includes 10,000 unique “Citizen Spudz” plus the most recent U.S presidents and some of the more memorable early presidents for a total of 160 unique “Richard Spudz Presidential Collection”
If these sell out, we’ll produce more popular past presidents and follow the 2024 election with a new release of upcoming candidates.
For the record, this is not a political statement in favor of or against a particular party. Just a jab a politics in general.
